Complicated challenge for Valencia Basket on the Real Madrid court
Valencia Basket faces the second of a series of three complicated away games in a row visiting the Real Madrid court (Sunday 4, 6:00 p.m., Wizink Center, #Vamos) in a game corresponding to the tenth day of the Endesa League.
The Taronja team will try to use the moral boost from their victory on Thursday at the Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade court to overcome the wear and tear and problems they have in the guards rotation: the long-term absences of Van Rossom, Millán Jiménez and Martin Hermannsson is joined by the certain absence of Chris Jones due to arthritis in his right knee joint and the doubt of the participation of guard Klemen Prepelic due to back problems that have already prevented him from playing in Belgrade.
Point guard Guillem Ferrando could have his first minutes after his return from loan and the young Lucas Marí will complete the twelve players list since the Taronja team will have to rule out one of their three non-EU players for this game (Jasiel Rivero, James Webb III or Jared Harper).
The taronja squad will need its best possible version to have options on the court of a rival on a roll, which is the statistical leader of the acb, the second-best offensive team and the one with the most and best rebounds.
In a confrontation that is the great classic taronja in national competition, the precedents are clearly favorable to the white team although Valencia Basket has been able to take the victory of the Wizink Center in its last two visits in the acb Regular Season.
Valencia Basket begins this day located in the 12th position with a 4-5 in the standings
